Thing you guys are forgetting is that the $600 "salary" isnt the salary at all. To get your actual salary you would have to factor in the cost of accomodation and meals that CCP are providing for you as well. The $600 is for "living expenses" (beer & pizza).

I dont want to seem pushy or impatient but is there a time frame for replies to applications? I know you said you needed staff ASAP but how soon is soon (in case I need to give notice at my current job).

Yes thanks, this is a great help. My particular circumstances mean I am unable to afford a flight (unemplyed for several months) so do you know if CCP actually pay for then send you the tickets or is it a "Get it yourself, we will reimburse you" thing. Im sure this is something that could be discussed person to person and if there isnt an answer no bother, im just curious.

Tech 2 lottery could have been the test bed for the "GM Employment Lottery", fortunately I have "Advanced Employment Agents" skill up to level 5, so I should be ok.

How you act in game should in no way reflect how you are as a person. I would never dreams of waiting on the inside of say the local cinema with a group of friends, waiting for someone with a full wallet then jumping him and running off. I would do that in a heartbeat in eve :)

In addition to those questions I would like to ask about the transport arrangements for interns. Is it required for them to hold a full driving license or is there adequate public transport for general getting to/from work/pub, or is there hidden option 3 (CCP buses? Walking distance to accomodation?).

What would the main duties of the GM's be, is it mostly answering petitions?
Ive been sitting in help answering questions in case that is required, trying to get a feel of what to say and stuff.

Yeh lease runs out on my flat soon, if I take a new one its a minimum of 6 months. Im hoping CCP get back to us either way this week at some point :S

I dont think a reply is strictly vital to all the emails, however a GM poking his head into this thread saying "All positions full" would be nice, it seems a few people are putting their lives on hold waiting to hear back about this.

Kieron could you please get Helgi to update this post with "Applicant letters sent" or something, just so we know that if we havent got a email yet we aint in luck. I dont wanna have to wait 2 weeks till the new GMs are hired and settling in before I realise Ive been holding out for something thats already gone.
